MUST READ!!!

Yes, it's the obligatory, non-humorous, boring, semi-technical, apologetic, egotistical, personal message that you are forced to read or your net credibility will suffer!

THESE PAGES grew out of various tests and experiments with HTML and Netscape 1.1. Please don't tell me I could have written a page in a much less complex manner. Once I played around and got the result I wanted I did not simplify it on the basis of "if it is not broken then don't mend it". If a page doesn't look quite right, and you are using at least Netscape 1.1, then please click on the reload button. (Note: Version 1.0 will give you some funny results such as non-readable lettering.) If you are not using Netscape then I apologise, but remember that you can't please all of the people all of the time. If any of you want the challenge of upgrading these pages for all the major browsers I'd very much welcome the result of your efforts.

THE NON-MAGICAL icons_new and graphics on these pages were acquired during various trips around the net. Unfortunately the sources are long gone (they fell through holes in the net!) so I have assumed they are all in the public domain. If you recognize your handy-work and want me to A) give you credit here, or B) stop using it immediately before you sue, I will gladly oblige. Life is too short to spend in court!.

THE MAGICAL icons_new and graphics used on this site are not, repeat NOT, to be copied or used in any way what-so-ever!!! As far as I know, they do not exist elsewhere on the net. It is only their use that makes these pages unique. So please find your own. If you do see any of them in your net travels please let me know so that I can publicly acknowledge the prior claim as I know how hard they were to acquire. REMEMBER: People admire originators but NOT copyists.

NOTE: In constructing these pages we have adopted a definite policy of incorporating the odd (and some of them are pretty odd) spelling and grammatical error. This was to keep the current holder of our Nit-Picker Supreme Award happy. He is that celebrated Professor, Edwin A. Dawes, the Honourable Historian of The Magic Circle. If you wish to challenge Eddie for the title then be our guest. But remember that you have to find all the errors in these pages or you will only be thought of as a Minor Nuisance and not deserving of the title!

ALL QUESTIONS regarding setting up similar pages will be answered if sent on the back of a U.K.£10 note or U.S.$20 bill. (One question per note or bill please!) All non-rude suggestions will be gratefully appreciated. Although I will try to answer all questions, those from non-members, and on non-magical spectating topics will go to the bottom of the pile.
